Joyann Dwire is a freelance writer living in Toccoa, Georgia where she works as a church secretary and organist. She is originally from Somerset County,Pennsylvania where she lived on a farm with several cows, cats, dogs, peacocks and a llama.

Her stories and articles have appeared in magazines including Highlights for Children, The Lookout, Power for Living, Open Windows, The War Cry, Pennsylvania Magazine, Purpose, Seek, Standard, The Quiet Hour and Cup of Comfort for Women. In addition, she is the author of the children’s picture book, What Kind of Cow Are You? and co-author of the nonfiction book Miracle at Dormel Farms.
